Seller notes: PAGES: viii, xv, i, 455; ix, i, 456; viii, i, 457. BINDING: The three volumes are bound in contemporary full leather with raised bands, gilt ruling to covers; gilt decoration to spines, two gilt lettered labels to each volume (two chipped), marbled endpapers and all edges. CONDITION: Scuffing and rubbing to spines, two labels chipped with loss; presentation inscription dated 1863 to front blank endpaper of the first volume; occasional foxing (mainly to the first and last few pages of each volume and pages surrounding the plates; otherwise a very good and attractive set.
